This past Friday, MaskMissionAK has had the honor to donate 127 masks to Alaska Native Medical Center! This accomplishment however wasn’t done by MaskMissionAK alone. We would like to express our gratitude to our community and all of those that donated to our cause to help flatten the curve in Alaska. We are so thrilled to have so many members of our community take part in aiding those in need!
With that said, our mission isn’t over yet! And we can’t wait to see what is to come. Alaska is our home, and seeing those who work in the healthcare services fighting to protect it, is really special. Watching our fellow community members help these workers is equally so. We encourage all those who are able, especially the youth, to further contribute to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Our next goal is to donate to the Alaska Regional Hospital this Friday on May 1st. Any homemade mask donations will be greatly appreciated!! Contact us for the specific dropbox location to our email.

All of you have inspired not only us West High students, but also the public to stand and make a change in the face of COVID-19. We truly admire and respect your bravery in making the sacrifices to help battle the novel coronavirus.
